Tomorrow is International Women's Day. Sadly at the time of writing this blog I don't know if there is an International Men's Day, but I hope so... If you look around and watch people and happenings on our little planet called Earth there are a few things changing. For years the world has been run by the boys while us girls took a back seat and tended our children and our homes. Somewhere along the way the Wise Woman got lost, money became king and looking after your nearest and dearest became devalued. |

My friend and co-creator of fun Deb Hawken started her Spiritual Life Group this week. I joined in as I love hearing Deb work, but what I also received could quite possibly be one of those turning points in life... Deb's group focuses on being spiritual, not in a fluffy, floaty way but a real life, have more energy, see the world differently and happily be yourself kind of way. Those of you that know me know that this is the way I like to work too. Our last exercise involved sitting quietly with a blank piece of paper and asking for one word, then expanding that it any way we felt we wanted to. |

Spiritual awareness has been a buzz phrase for years now, ask most people and they will have been for a massage, read a positive thinking book at the very least. Most of us are trying our best to eat healthily, add in some fitness and reduce the stresses in our lives. Over the years many people have increased their intuitive choices...so is it now the turn of our bodies to talk? Orthodox medicine has come to our rescue over the years - saving endless lives and fighting infections, but do our bodies know more than we think? |

September 11th, 2001. A day when an organised group of people convinced by their cause struck a vengeful attack on a super nation. Many people lost their lives that day as millions of people around the world came together in shock, grief and sympathy. Most of us can remember what we were doing as the attrocities unfolded before us. The day before I had taken voluntary redundancy from a job I loved, but something told me it was time to leave. I was just completing my final accountancy exams and it gave me paid time to study, so you could say it was a logical decision. |

There have been a few discussions on the press recently, including front page in a Bristol paper and being passionate about my work I would like to share some views. As in all trades there are good and bad and the very fact that we are all human beings means that there is a chance that we can make errors in what we do and what we say. Anyone who devotes their life to helping people must have a passion for what they do and a heartfelt desire to make a difference. I have worked as a Psychic, Medium and Holistic Therapist for the last 14 years and have formed several beliefs over that period: |

This life is a journey and we all have our way to go. It strikes me though that we use things in our life or situations to describe ourselves, from the job we do or the illness we are suffering. When challenges occur and life stops working, we feel a sense of stress and panic. I believe this feeling is our alarm bell, alerting us that we have strayed away from our path and our true self. We try to rectify situations, we search for a quick fix or cure and generally build up our stress which in turn makes us feel even more unhappy and out of sorts. |

So tonight is a full moon, there's an eclipse and our planets are moving into amazing alignments. If you are an astrologer then you will know what that means for mankind. If, like me, you have never studied Astrology except for reading your stars and gleaning other people's knowledge, then this information may left you a little baffled! There is no doubt that the planet is shifting. Reading Tarot for people as I do life and its situations are becoming confusing. Doors are closing, relationships are changing (some ending, some shifting) and things that have always been certain are no longer so. |

Sometimes in life there comes a point where you stop and take stock. That point may come because you choose to stop, or because you have no choice... If you have chosen to stop I congratulate you for your planning, vision and general amazingness! It takes a special kind of person to do this without prompting. If you have had stopping thrust upon you, by life or by illness then you have my sympathy! Usually when this happens there are protests, there is toy throwing and general exclamations. |

I have been on a holistic journey for 15 years now. Before that if I had a pain I would reach for the paracetamol and think no more about it. One day though I made the connection. I realised that pain was my body's way of talking to me. In life I had been running around focusing on what to do next, my children, my job, the dust building up behind the radiators...anything external so I could hide from myself. So my body stopped. Just like that. No warning. It was weeks before I walked into the door of a cranial osteopath and life changed forever. |

Good Afternoon! On this rainy afternoon I have remembered a great quote: "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's learning to dance in the rain" I find quotes like this great nudges for quickly getting you back on track. I have found lately that life has got quicker: less time for being and more doing, exciting beginnings and sudden endings. A few steps down the 'wrong' path and quick as a flash the path disappears...a few breaths later and the 'right' thing presents itself. |
